Our wedding ceremony and reception will be held at Goldberry Woods, located at 9902 Community Hall Rd. It’s an easy and scenic getaway from Chicago and the surrounding Midwest. Just outside New Buffalo in Southwest Michigan, the property is most easily reached by car.

Don't forget the time zone change! Friendly reminder for our out of town guests. Chicago is on Central Time, and Michigan is one hour ahead on Eastern Time. Plan + set your clocks accordingly :)

By Car

• South Bend: 30 minutes

• Indianapolis: 2.5 hours

By Air

For guests flying in, the most convenient airports are:

• Chicago Midway International Airport (1 hour 15 minutes)

• Chicago O’Hare International Airport (1 hour 30 minutes)

• South Bend International Airport (40 minutes)

Chicago airports offer the greatest number of direct flight options. South Bend has more limited service but is the shortest drive to the property.

By Train

Train travel is a convenient option from Chicago. Amtrak offers service to New Buffalo, Michigan via the Wolverine Line. From the New Buffalo station, Goldberry Woods is a short drive away. We recommend coordinating a rideshare or carpool for the final leg of the trip.

Day-Of Parking & Transportation

Ample on-site parking is available at Goldberry Woods. Please follow signage upon arrival; parking will be located in front of the River’s Edge Cottage. We recommend carpooling or using a rideshare when possible.

For guests staying within a 10-minute drive, we will coordinate transportation to the wedding on request. Please indicate your interest on your RSVP. Pickup windows will be shared via text the week of the wedding, with pickups scheduled between 4:00–4:45 PM.

At the end of the evening, return rides will be available on request. An on-site driver will be available throughout the night to take you home, until 11:00 PM.

All ceremony and reception events will take place on site.
